BROADCASTING
On the right side of the Nmea4Wifi toolbar there are 2 buttons labelled as “Start Recording” and “Start Broadcasting”. When you press the button “Start Broadcasting”, Nmea 0183 sentences are periodically read from a file and sent by one of three ports: COM, UDP or TCP. The file, the target port and the period of transmission are the parameters chosen in the Transmission of Nmea 0183 Sentences form. If the file exists and there is no error in the opening of the target port, the broadcasting of the sentences starts immediately and the toolbar button starts to blink as shown in the next picture.
