Ciao, when I turn on my MFEA4WIFI, only the red light turns on indicating that there is power but it is not possible to connect to WiFi.
What can be done?
ps: I had done the last update: NMEA4WIFIV44.BIN (April 2021) and now it doesn't connect anymore.

Cannot connect to WiFi
Re: Cannot connect to WiFi
Hello,
Since you cannot connect and the multiplexer does not creates its network, it could be the case that the update did not finished correctly. You could try to flash the esp32 module as if it was a module purchased elsewhere. There are instructions on the forum how to accomplish that.
I am returning to Portugal from Greece next week. If you cannot solve the problem you can return the multiplexer to me and I will send it back to you with the proper firmware. If we go on this line please contact me privately by email.
Regards, Luis, Aegina, Greece

Re: Cannot connect to WiFi
I have the same thing - received a kit recently (pre-flashed), assembled, powered up, and can't connect to Wifi with either laptop or Android phone. Disabled auto-connect to other networks.
Puzzled....

Re: Cannot connect to WiFi
Update: I followed the tutorial and reflashed with 4.4, it works now.
New question: does seatalk P4 need 12v and data, or data and gnd?

Hello Stuart,
Glad you got it working.
From the SesTalk bus you need to bring the 12V wire to A4 and the Data wire to B4. You don't use GND.
