Hello Boris,
I see no problem. You have the schematics. I do not understand why you need to use OTA. You could just flash your binary using the serial port and Arduino.

Re: Connect to External network
Hello, If you choose the multiplexer to connect to an external network (say a router with internet connection) you can on smartphone (or else) connect to: 1) the Nmea4Wifi AP but you cannot link to the Internet or 2) the router and have access to the internet. In order to to access the multiplexer f...

Re: Wave jamming
Hello,
Yes. You can run present firmware in the old hardware.
It could be useful if you could temporarily feed power from a cheap 9V battery to see if the FM interference exists. The idea was to check if the interference comes through the common 12V service battery.

Re: Wave jamming
Hello Schanpsy, Sorry for this late answer. As you probably know all multiplexer use a switching voltage regulator to bring the 12V voltage from the service battery down to 5V. Everything works from 5V directly (namely the 485 driver) or from 3V3 (reduced from the 5V through a linear AMS1117 regulat...

Hello Adam,
Could you run this tool
https://vela-navega.com/forum/viewtopic ... ester#p482
and check if you receive UDP data from the multiplexer? Placing the multiplexer in simulation mode.

Re: Windows 11 Connectivity
Hello, I don't know how to solve the problem. Can only give some tips. In Windows 10 I can only have one application to receive UDP. I have a tool that I wrote and use to receive/transmit UDP TCP SERIAL. If I set the tool to receive UDP packets, other apps will not get those packets. It is like "the...

Re: Cell phone hot spot
Hello Cougar, 1) When the Nmea4Wifi only creates its wifi network you can connect your phone to the AP created by the multiplexer. In that case you will loose internet as the phone will be connected to the multiplexer and the multiplexer is not a modem (can not connect to the internet). The server/c...

Re: WIFI connection disappears
Hello Christophe, I am sorry to know about your problem. There is something wrong. The multiplexer should not become so hot. I am sailing in Greece and we had 40 centigrade degrees and that does not affect the operation of the multiplexer. You should be able to touch any component with your finger w...

Re: Problems with the Navionics APP and the NMEA datasets
Hello Theo, I am sorry for not coming to your email. Your problem is the following: you have a depth sensor that transmits DPT nmea0183 messages. That sensor does not adds the checksum to those messages. You would like a custom version of the multiplexer that adds that checksum Could we define the i...

Re: Problem with UDP transmission
Hello,
The multiplexer can not send out on UDP what it receives on UDP. There is no UDP>UDP routing box. Are you using OpenCPN only? As far as i know you could send your wind data by UDP directly to OpenCPN. Or you could route UDP>TCP and create e receiving TCP connection on OpenCPN.
