Re: WIFI connection disappears
Hello Christophe, I am sorry to know about your problem. There is something wrong. The multiplexer should not become so hot. I am sailing in Greece and we had 40 centigrade degrees and that does not affect the operation of the multiplexer. You should be able to touch any component with your finger w...

Re: Problems with the Navionics APP and the NMEA datasets
Hello Theo, I am sorry for not coming to your email. Your problem is the following: you have a depth sensor that transmits DPT nmea0183 messages. That sensor does not adds the checksum to those messages. You would like a custom version of the multiplexer that adds that checksum Could we define the i...

Re: Problem with UDP transmission
Hello,
The multiplexer can not send out on UDP what it receives on UDP. There is no UDP>UDP routing box. Are you using OpenCPN only? As far as i know you could send your wind data by UDP directly to OpenCPN. Or you could route UDP>TCP and create e receiving TCP connection on OpenCPN.
Regards, Luis

How to connect the NASA AIS Engine 3 to a multiplexer
Hello, The NASA AIS Engine 3 unit has a DB9 female connector from which we can get the signal to drive a multiplexer. There is much confusion about which signals we should use and to clarify this I went to a drawer where I keep old electronic instruments and picked up the NASA AIS which I used in my...

Hello,
I do not know the present version that you are using. I think if you type 192.168.4.1:82 you can do the update.

Re: NMEA3WIFI ext netw and internet access
Hello, You say "the devices on the internal network". Could you please clarify? If the multiplexer only creates its network and, for example, you connect your smartphone to the multiplexer, then the smartphone will not have internet access. If, on the other hand, the multiplexer connects to an exist...

Re: Nmea4wifi wifi broken?
Hello,
Is your TH unit one that uses a small red PCB regulator? Could you send me a photo for me to identify the unit?
Please deal with this case using my email.

Hello,
If nothing connects to the B2 terminal of the multiplexer, there is nothing available to the multiplexer. You should connect the NOIR cable to B2. You should bridge.

Re: Nmea4wifi wifi broken?
Hello, Removing USB cable and just supplying +12V and GND, check the +5 volts voltage. You can measure it at pin 8 of the 3 ICs. The MAX485 is not under the esp32 module and it will be easier to check. Or the middle pin of the voltage regulator (with caution not to make a short to the adjacent pins)...
